Something that is critical to ensuring a good and safe experience for your members is the ability to make sure that all your coaches or relevant parties are aware of any medical or other factors that may affect how your member trains. This feature has been built into Fitbox through Broadcast.
Broadcast is found by selecting the message icon at the top right hand side of your page. Broadcast is available on all pages of the Fitbox portal.
After selecting the message icon, the Broadcast option will appear. Select New Post.
New Post will then open up to fill out all the information required for the broadcast. Unless the message is to be broadcast to all, ensure you select Private so only the addressee's receive the broadcast.
The category for the broadcast is selected through the arrow dropdown menu starting with General comment.
The message can be directed to a single person and/or group of people at the Send To option.
After selecting who the message will be broadcast to, a comment can be filled out in the text box.
To ensure the comment refers to the correct member, select Add Related Members/Groups and find the appropriate member.
The broadcast can also be assigned to a specific person, through Assign to, and a due date can be given.
Once the broadcast message is complete, select Post Comment
The Broadcast message will now appear to the right of the screen. To edit the message or remove select the pencil or rubbish icon respectively.
